Well, the election is tomorrow. I won’t be posting about Prop 37 anymore because pass or fail – it’s over. By tomorrow evening, that ship will have sailed. The only thing we have left is education. If the proposal fails, there is education. If the proposal passes, we still need lots of education. Everyone needs to know what GMOs are. They need to know the sweeping global implications that result from GMO seeds, seed manipulation, seed patenting. They need to know that among many many other equally disturbing practices by biotech companies, seeds are being genetically modified to not reproduce. We are eating plants from these seeds. A Russian study from 2010 found that hamsters fed genetically modified soy, (91% of soy grown in the US is genetically modified) became infertile by the third generation. Read article.
