Planting a garden this spring? Has the thought crossed your mind that perhaps Monsanto may own the seeds you’re buying? Since Monsanto owns 40% of the world’s seeds, I’d say that it is a good question to ask. I recently learned that Monsanto even owns some of the heirloom varieties.
The website Disinformation recently posted an article by Jacob Sloan explaining how to avoid Monsanto seeds. Included are links to other sites that list Monsanto’s companies, a site that lists seed companies which Monsanto doesn’t own, and one which exposes heirloom seeds that are apparently also Monsanto-owned.
