  1. Julee I just wanted to share with you that I linked your blog in some of my work. http://farmfutures.com/blogs-should-know-gmo-wheat-7248, In this blog, my goal is to help farmers understand why some people may be negative towards some of their farming practices. You’re sharing a neat journey here…For my first job, I was in the Tri-Cities in Washington, I loved driving to Portland whenever I got the chance, it’s such beautiful area!

    1. Thank you for stopping by and I’m glad you found something of value at my blog. Sorry it took me so long to notice this comment.

  3. Interesting how Axis equates the climate consensus with GMO consensus. Then why are so many pro-GMOers also climate deniers?

    1. My answer to that question is that it all comes down to agendas. Climate deniers have a pro-corporate agenda and climate change causes problems for this agenda. In the same fashion, anti-GMOers are generally an anti-corporate group and resent that multinational companies like Monsanto own so many patents and control the seed market to the extent they do. In my opinion, both groups are wrong and letting their personal and political agendas trump facts.

  4. Your conversion from anti-GMO to not-anti-GMO intrigued me, so I’m glancing through your blog and am interested. I certainly appreciate your integrity! A gal after my own heart. I hear you on questions coming down to agendas, and that certainly is often the case. As for comparison of “climate deniers” and “pro-GMOers” I am not sure that is a fair one. For one thing, I don’t know what a “climate denier” is never having heard from one or seen one. What I have seen are likewise high-integrity scientists who didn’t buy the “consensus” propaganda on climate change. However, both topics are certainly seeing their fair share of politics where none is needed, that’s for sure! Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    1. Thanks for your comment Holly. Actually, the comparison I made was between climate deniers, (meaning climate change deniers), and anti-GMO people. Both groups have much in common, the largest of which is ignoring widespread scientific consensus.
